Monday, 09 September, 2024
Police employees are being offered a special incentive of vouchers from John Lewis and IKEA to furnish their new homes when they buy a shared ownership home at an affordable price at Square Roots Hendon in the London borough of Barnet.
Police, hospital, ambulance and fire brigade staff are all eligible for the incentive, as well as any emergency staff with a blue light card. Square Roots Hendon is not far from Hendon Police College, Barnet Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital, and Hendon Fire station. Blue light staff are being offered a £2,500 voucher when they buy a one bedroom apartment or £3,500 voucher for a two bedroom apartment. There are homes ready to move into.
Georgia Canagon, of Square Roots, said: "We are committed to recognising and supporting emergency workers on their journey to homeownership and so we are offering tailored incentives which can help them to turn their new apartment into the perfect home for them. The offer also extends to all key workers covered by the blue light card scheme."
Square Roots Hendon is a collection of studio, one, two and three bedroom high quality apartments, near the picturesque Welsh Harp lake with its woodland walks, wildlife and watersports. The apartments are available through shared ownership. Starting prices are from £95,000 for a 25 per cent minimum share for a stylish one bedroom apartment. All the apartments have excellent specification interiors with open plan living areas, private balconies and terraces with attractive podium gardens, a play area, secure off-street parking and cycle storage.
There are fast transport links from Hendon and Colindale underground stations and national rail links to King’s Cross St Pancras in 19 minutes.
