National Association of Police Fleet Managers' Conference & Exhibition

The NAPFM Event Team is pleased to announce that the National Strategic Ambulance Fleet Group will be holding a seminar on Wednesday 7th September 2011 at the NAPFM Event.

This seminar for members of the Ambulance Service Fleet and Procurement Departments will provide an opportunity to combine a visit to the NAPFM Conference & Exhibition. The 38th National Association of Police Fleet Managers' Conference & Exhibition takes place at the Exec Exhibition Centre at Peterborough on the 6th & 7th September 2011.

Since the beginning of the year leading members of the NAPFM, the National Strategic Ambulance Fleet Group and the Chief Fire Officers' Association Transport Officers' Group have been meeting to identify opportunities to collaborate for the benefit of the three services and the public.

Many of the suppliers at the NAPFM Exhibition are used by all three services and with opportunities for joint service collaboration on procurement and best practice the time was seen as right to work more closely together.

Mike Cripps the NAPFM Event Manager said: "This is something we have been trying to achieve for a long time and we are delighted that in September the Ambulance Service will be holding an Ambulance Fleet and Procurement Seminar. The exhibitors at the NAPFM Exhibition have been telling us for many years that a collaborative event for the Emergency Services is the most cost effective for them."

The event fills the two large halls at Exec and a large outdoor area. The NAPFM Event with over 130 exhibitors and around 250 vehicles is becoming the "One Stop Fleet Shop" for those connected with "999" Transport.

The NAPFM Exhibition has always been a cost effective opportunity for small companies to compete with the large international manufacturers; this year delegates and visitors have another great opportunity to see a wide range of exhibits from cycles to command vehicles and switches to signs. The NAPFM is an invite only event; whilst they extend a warm invitation to those in the Emergency Services, Government and Military the event is not open to the general public.
