Policing Board appoints new Assistant Chief Constable

PSNI's Newest Assistant Chief Constable, Chief Superintendent Will Kerr.



The Northern Ireland Policing Board (the Board) on 4 November announced the appointment of the Police Service of Northern Ireland's (PSNI) newest Assistant Chief Constable, Chief Superintendent Will Kerr.

Chairman of the Board, Barry Gilligan said,

"This is the 3rd Senior Officer Recruitment campaign undertaken by the Board this year and Chief Superintendent Kerr joins the command team at an important time for policing.

On behalf of the Board I would like to congratulate him on his appointment and we look forward to working with him. The Board would also like to take this opportunity to thank the other candidates who were interviewed for the post and wishes them well in the future".
