Salary: The starting salary is £38,926, which includes allowances totalling £2,928.
The salary is broken down as £35,998 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £38,523 Plus, a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

Dedicated individuals are sought to join the MPS Economic Complex Fraud Team as Civilian Investigators in Greater London. We are committed to delivering quality services and making a positive impact in the field of Economic Crime investigation at the highest level of impact.
This role will appeal to experienced investigators who are keen to join our professional and dedicated team that only deals with complex investigations into Fraud or like offences.
This role offers regular office hours, Monday to Friday. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in managing investigations, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to handle challenging cases involving intricate data.
As a Police Staff Investigator (PSI), your duties will encompass a wide range of investigative activities including, but not limited to:
- Using internal IT systems to research and maintain records regarding individuals and investigations
- Statement taking, securing and reviewing CCTV
- Suspect interviewing and intelligence interviews
- File building including disclosure declarations and could include attending court and giving evidence
- You will also assist other investigators with key case progression such as disclosure reviews, redacting material, reviewing 3rd party data and document scheduling
- Completing applications for examinations of digital media and forensic submissions
- Carrying out further enquiries in relation to investigations at the request of the Supervising Officer(s)
