Friday, 07 March, 2008

Jobs with Strathclyde Police are now just a click away with the recent launch of the
Force recruitment website.

The new site offers members of the public quick and easy access to a whole host of job opportunities with Strathclyde Police.

Increasing numbers of job seekers turn to the internet to begin their job search and this new resource offers the ideal solution for making the application process much more transparent for potential candidates and Force Recruiting alike.

Benefits of the new site include listings of all current vacancies, the facility to fill in applications online and the option to receive job vacancy updates to your inbox.

In line with the Disability Discrimination Act, accessibility has been a key driving force behind the creation of the new site.

Chief Inspector Neil Kerr of Force recruiting fully recognises the benefits the site brings. "We want to provide a better experience for all potential candidates who are either applying or considering applying for a job with the Force, be it as a police officer, a cadet, a special constable or a member of police staff. The new website will also help us modernise our recruiting process as a whole," he explained.
