Brother launches new printers for emergency services workers

Information, communication and technology services provider Brother UK has launched a new portable printer range for emergency services workers who need to print important documents while on the move, from incident reports and heat maps to patient treatment information.

The new PJ700 range, which is the smallest, most technologically advanced A4/A5 mobile thermal printer series on the market today, is made up of six models, all offering fast (8ppm) reliable high-quality A4 printing from any location.

With a robust design, a longer battery life* and fast print speeds, they are the ideal option for busy emergency service workers who need to work efficiently under pressure.

The new range allows users to print from any location, whether at the scene of an accident or en route to their next visit. Users can print directly from mobile devices via a range of simple connectivity options including Google Cloud print and Brother’s tailored iPrint & Scan app. The flagship PJ-763MFi model also offers a bespoke Bluetooth connection and the PJ-773 includes AirPrint, meaning users can print directly from their iPad or iPhones.

With its range of accessories and free industry-leading software development kit, Brother has designed its new portable printers so that they can be mounted into vehicles, adapted to suit individual needs, and easily integrated with existing systems. The printers offer a variety of power and image quality settings, with no inks or toners to replace and a simple set-up, meaning operating them while in the field is as straight-forward as possible.
