HR Officers (three posts)
Based at Force Headquarters, Enderby

£26,910 – £29,115, 37 hours per week, one permanent and two fixed term posts
Responsible for contributing to the effective performance of the HR Department ensuring the provision of an efficient and effective HR Service Delivery.
It is essential that applicants:
*Are a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and
*Development or equivalent;
*Demonstrate ability or experience in:
*A HR role requiring use of initiative and responsibility for decisions made;
*Developing and delivering training on HR issues;
*Dealing with core HR issues including disciplinary, grievance resolution, staff development and attendance management;
*Demonstrate experience of supervising a team in a results-driven, customer-facing environment where you have had responsibility for allocation of workload, motivation and personal development;
*Managing and working effectively as part of a small team in order to optimise team performance and service provision;
*Good knowledge of current employment legislation.
*Demonstrate ability to:
*Write management level reports;
*Influence and negotiate in order to achieve a successful outcome;
*Utilise highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills, to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels, influencing and negotiating with others positively, whilst maintaining good working relationships with a diverse range of people;
*Use own initiative and take responsibility for decisions of a complex nature within the parameters of own remit to overcome customer enquiries, technical and staff issues.
*Demonstrate a level of awareness of diversity issues appropriate to this role;
*Demonstrate strong presentation skills;
*Demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Office products especially advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
*Are familiar with data input, retrieval and report generation from HR Management Information Systems;
*Demonstrate practical experience of reading, interpreting and analysing complex reports;
*Demonstrate ability to travel for business purposes.
