Based Gatwick area, with frequent travel involved
If you’re calm, responsible and able to diffuse sometimes confrontational situations, here’s an excellent way to supplement your existing income or secure a good rate of pay on a flexible basis.
You’ll do this by transporting and accompanying groups of immigration detainees back to their country of origin. This means using your compassionate approach, mature judgement and excellent interpersonal skills to make each journey as smooth and reassuring as possible for everyone concerned.
We’re looking for people who are willing and able to spend periods of time away from home and let us know their availability each month. Possibly from a police, security or services background, you’ll need a full driving licence, a checkable work history and be willing to undertake an enhanced Criminal Records Check and Counter Terrorist clearance. Plenty of tact and diplomacy is also essential, allied with a respect for people of all cultures.
