Submissions Clerk

The Submissions Clerk is based in the Forensic Investigation Unit and is responsible for the administrative tasks within this operational department including the effective and efficient processing of forensic submissions, ensuring timely delivery of samples and results. Accurate data entry into force computer systems is vital. You will also be required to collate performance information for the department and liaise with other investigative departments and agencies on forensic issues.

You should be educated to GCSE level in Maths and English grade A-C (or equivalent) and have experience in an administrative environment which included the use of Microsoft packages. The ability to take responsibility for your own workload and to work without supervision is essential. You should also be able to use your own initiative, be self motivated and a friendly and approachable team player
