Based at either Constabulary Headquarters or Castle Street, Worcester
Salary Range: £14,952 - £15,996/£16,347 p.a. (Pay award pending) plus generous shift and weekend working allowances. Reference No. H12/02
We are looking for quality people to join our team in delivering a customer focused service as the first point of contact for emergency and non emergency calls.
Successful candidates must have:
-A general education to GCSE (A-C) or equivalent to include English Language
-ability to type at 35wpm
-effective communication skills
-experience of working in a high pressure customer service environment
-competence in the use of IT including Microsoft packages
The role offers excellent training and career development opportunities, enabling successful candidates to move swiftly into the position of Communications Operator.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend Assessment Centre scheduled to take place on either Wednesday 30th or Thursday 31st January 2008.
