Job Description : To assist the Force Information Access Supervisor to ensure compliance with all aspects of legislation, Home Office, ACPO and Force Policies relating to Data Protection and Freedom of Information (FOI) within Cambridgeshire Constabulary. You will also assess and deal with exceptional disclosure requests for personal data from outside organisations and decide upon appropriate level of disclosure in response to Subject Access and Freedom of Information requests, to balance legislative requirements with operational needs.
You must have knowledge of the Data Protection Act 1998 including Subjects Rights Access and detailed knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Educated to A Level standard or equivalent with the ability to compile reports and calculate statistics are also essential for this role.
