A vacancy has arisen for a Policy Officer to join the small specialist team based in Shrewsbury, which supports Members and the Chief Executive of the West Mercia Police Authority
Main duties will include:
Support to members attending the Association of Police Authorities
Assisting the Authority’s Performance Monitoring role
Assisting production of the member website and weekly Bulletin
Assisting policy development and review
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and demonstrate a high level of IT literacy to include PC and Mac formats. Well developed communication skills together with a creative approach and self-reliance are essential.
West Mercia is a local authority responsible to oversee local policing.
