Salary: £19,062 - £21,501
This is a new and challenging post within the Force Technical Support Unit located at the Lincolnshire Police Headquarters, Nettleham.
You will be required to carry out the examination of mobile communication devices, SIM cards and other storage media such as SD cards and Compact Flash cards both within an office environment and at scenes of crime.
You will be required to undertake the recovery, copying, editing, decoding and enhancement of video and audio product from a variety of systems.
The successful candidates must possess a HND, City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in either information technology or telecommunications or have substantial experience in IT Support. You will be required to provide written documentation of all work undertaken and maintain systems in accordance with the work undertaken. You must be able to demonstrate experience of working with minimum supervision.
In addition the post holder must hold a full driving licence and be able to satisfy security clearance.
The successful candidate must also pass the following National Accredited Course, Mobile Phone Forensics Course and Advanced Mobile Phone Forensics Course.
