Job Description: Police Community Support Officer

We are looking to increase our strength of Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) who play a vital and active role in providing reassurance to communities and tackling antisocial behaviour such as vandalism, graffiti, street crime and underage drinking.
You will establish and maintain strong links with residents and community groups and adopt a problem solving approach to community issues.
On patrol, you will be providing high visibility and reassurance to the public, gathering intelligence for the Police Officer family and dealing with antisocial behaviour.
You must also be able to meet our fitness and medical standards and be willing to cover shifts out on the streets between 8am and 12 midnight, seven days a week. We are also keen to encourage part-time working and would be happy to discuss this with you at any stage.
