Salary: Starting on £35850 and rising to £40389 p.a. (after relevant satisfactory service)
Job Description: A challenging role within the Constabulary’s Estates and Facilities Management Department based at the Hinchingbrooke Park, Huntingdon.
You will manage new build and refurbishment projects, planned and reactive repairs, mechanical and electrical works and implement environmental initiatives within Cambridgeshire. A building surveyor, M&E Engineer and Environmental Officer will assist you and your team. You will need to advise on site health and safety issues and legislative requirements of police buildings.
In this role you will work closely with the Head of Estates and Facilities Management in developing strategies and procedures and deputise for him.
You should hold an appropriate professional qualification e.g. RICS or CIOB and have at least five years demonstrable experience of preparing and implementing work specifications and contracts.
To match your professional qualifications you will also possess strong organisational and prioritisation skills to allow you to balance a demanding workload.
