Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, you will be required to carry out routine inspections of all BCU buildings to ensure they are maintained “fit for the purpose”. You will ensure that the necessary standards are achieved in relation to the Workplace Health & Safety Regulations and the needs of the occupants for their daily functions.
With building maintenance skills/experience and knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations and Directives, you will possess good interpersonal and communication skills, along with experience of supervising staff. Experience of budget management and basic IT skills would be an advantage. The role will involve manual handling in accordance with the manual handling guidelines. You must have a full driving licence.
