Posts will be based at Carlton, Central (Nottingham) or Worksop Police Stations
These new posts have been created to strengthen the Divisions' property maintenance teams and enable greater control and management of the performance of contractors in accordance with the Force Control of Contractors Policy. You will prepare and implement planned maintenance programmes, to include specifications and budget estimates and obtain tenders/quotations for minor capital works and maintenance projects.
Using your technical qualification to a minimum of Higher BTEC (Buildings)/ equivalent level or experience, in additional to a NEBOSH General Certificate for Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent qualification, you will be experienced in managing repairs, maintenance works and capital projects. Effective communication skills and the ability to work on own initiative are also required.
You must have the ability to travel around the City and County to various locations as and when required.
