EXECUTIVE MANAGER – DURHAM AGENCY AGAINST CRIME (DAAC) –
DURHAM CITY (Ref.38/08)
As Executive Manager you will lead and manage the DAAC towards its aims
and objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing a number of projects
ensuring that appropriate funding is sought and spent within Charity
legislation and to report appropriately to the DAAC Board members.
It is expected that applicants should ideally possess a HND in a relevant
subject or equivalent e.g. NVQ Level 5 in Management.
Interested candidates should have at least two years management experience
including managing people and projects and evaluation. Experience of
submitting fundraising applications is also an essential requirement of the post holder.
It is anticipated that candidates will have advanced communication skills (both oral and written) including the ability to present facts accurately and clearly and be able to compose original reports and policies at a strategic level.
Sound numerical skills are required along with good computer/keyboard skills to input and retrieve information from spreadsheets/database systems.
