Details:
G4S Police Recruit require ex Police Officers to work in the Thames Valley Police Area who is able to work under pressure and manage their own workload and act on their own initiative with good organisational skills and an ability to prioritise workload paying attention to detail, with the ability to learn and be adaptable to changes in procedures and technology as well as be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
Duties:
1. Take statements of evidence from victims of crime or those involved in other incidents and witnesses to such occurrences.
2. Carry out certain active and secondary investigation processes in relation to crimes or other incidents.
3. Assist in the upgrading of case files which may include administrative tasks and making further enquiries.
4. Secure and preserve forensic or other evidence complying with any relevant legislation or policy and procedures relating to those aspects of investigation.
5. Attend any relevant court proceedings as a witness as a result of the post holder’s professional duties.
Desirable Skills / Experience:
Knowledge of Policing, Statement Taking, Continuity Statements, Collecting CCTV, Helping preparation of Files
Role:
To assist police officers in the investigation of criminal offences and other incidents. Assist with subsequent preparation of any case papers or other administrative processes connected with crime or incident investigation.
