SOURCE CO-ORDINATOR x2 BASED AT WORCESTER POLICE STATION
Salary range £18,969 - £19,539/£21,342 p.a. 37 hour week.

Working within a close knit team as a Source Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for supervising the Intelligence Assistants, and manage the information flow within the Intelligence environment on a daily basis and specifically to ensure evaluation, dissemination and action of intelligence information entering the unit.
You should have good numeracy and literacy skills and be educated to GCSE level including A-C (or equivalent). You must be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of all legislation, policy and procedures relevant to the role, including Covert Policing issues. You must also be able to demonstrate a commitment to updating your own professional knowledge and personal development along with the ability to evaluate information and make informed decisions.
You will be expected to work flexible shift patterns between the core hours of 6:30am to 5pm in order to ensure office resilience and provide briefings to uniformed officers.
This role is key to the smooth running of the Intelligence Department and you need good time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads, along with proven supervisory skills and the ability to develop staff.
