The IT Team Leader supervises and co-ordinates the work of the IT Trainers to ensure that IT training needs are being met in line with corporate standards and strategy. In addition you will provide an effective consultancy, implementation and support service on IT training within the framework of existing policy and legislation to Police Officers, Special Constables and staff within the organisation, its clients and partnership agencies.

Candidates must possess:

-A qualification to TDLB Level 3 or equivalent professional training qualification e.g. City and Guilds 7407/7307

-Supervisory qualification e.g. NVQ3 in Supervisory Management or Team Leader Award, NEBSM or equivalent

-Knowledge of training and learning theories

-Relevant experience in a training environment and recent experience in an IT role

-A1 or D32/33 Assessor Award or will work towards this qualification

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an assessment centre week commencing 7th January 2008.
