Station Duty Officer
As the first point of contact to members of the public attending the station, you will deal with enquiries in accordance with current legislation, policy and procedures.
You will need exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, have a polite and tactful approach, the ability to remain calm under pressure and confidence to deal with confrontation.
With good educational background along with IT awareness and basic keyboard skills, you will have a patient and understanding manner, as well as having a genuine interest in the Police Service and assisting the public. Previous experience in a Customer Service role is essential.
A 37 hour week is worked between the hours of 8am and Midnight covering seven days on a rotating shift pattern.
