This new role will strengthen the Division’s' property maintenance teams and enable greater control and management of the performance of contractors. You will prepare and implement planned maintenance programmes, to include specifications and budget estimates and obtain tenders/quotations for minor capital works and maintenance projects.
Using your technical qualification to a minimum of Higher BTEC (Buildings)/ equivalent level or experience, you’ll be experienced in managing repairs, maintenance works and capital projects. Effective communication skills and the ability to work on own initiative are also required along with a NEBOSH General Certificate for Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
You must have the ability to travel around the City and County to various locations as and when required.
