Vocational Development Assessor
Based at Force Headquarters, Enderby, Leicester
£21,501 - £22,992, 37 hours per week
To assess, develop and internally verify candidates studying towards a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) and other work-based accreditation and to provide them with on-going support.
It is essential that applicants:
*Possess the Assessor Award D32/33 or A1;
*Are willing to study towards and achieve the Internal Verifiers Award V1;
Demonstrate competence in:
*Assessing a wide range of candidates
across a number of awards;
*Delivering classroom-based training and workshops;
*Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills;
*Demonstrate effective time management skills, with experience of managing a variety of activities and tasks simultaneously;
*Demonstrate strong influencing skills;
*Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills;
*Demonstrate a desire to develop others;
*Demonstrate coaching experience;
*Demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
*Demonstrate flexibility;
Own a full and valid UK Driving Licence as frequent travel (mainly within the Force Area) may be necessary. Reasonable adjustments will be considered in light of DDA 1995.
