Post Room Assistant - Guildford HQ
We are seeking a well organised Post Room Assistant to work in the busy post room within the Records Management Department at Surrey Police Headquarters.
Working as part of a team dedicated to providing an Information Service and Central Archive facility to the Force, you will be responsible for dealing with the receipt and dispatch of incoming and outgoing post, courier services and registered mail, etc and be able to use a franking machine. In addition, you will also be required to collect and deliver mail from around the Headquarters site. You will also be assisting in the processing and storing of official files, records and correspondences.
You must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team and the ability to work to tight deadlines. You should have basic computer skills and have obtained or be expected to achieve a GCSE or equivalent in English Language (C Grade or above). It is also essential that the post holder possess a full driving licence.
