You will consult and advise the Project Manager on finance matters, preparing budget forecasts and promoting financial awareness in the team, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and assume responsibility for receiving, checking and processing of invoices. Acting as a point of contact you will liaise with the Home Office, providing detailed costing and reports for funding submission, attend meetings and liaise with other GMP divisions and branches as necessary.

With experience of budget preparation and financial control measures, you will have developed Financial Systems and Procedures and have worked in an administration environment in a similar capacity to this post. Previous experience of providing advice to managers is essential to this role as isgeneral management experience, knowledge of computerised administrative systems and the ability to keep up to date with changes in relevant legislation, policies and procedures.

This role is temporary for 3 years.
