Job Description: An opportunity has arisen to be responsible for the analytical and statistical function of a specialist police unit. You will provide information, which will enable the unit to effectively carry out its national policing commitments on behalf of the National ACPO. You will be responsible for identifying and analysing trends, collating and auditing statistical returns. You will be responsible for the units analytical and research staff.
Qualified to degree standard (or equiv.), you will have experience in data analysis and statistical techniques, and will be familiar in the use of a wide range of software packages. You will possess excellent communication skills, being creative in your approach to problem solving. Your flexible approach to work, and willingness to work under pressure will assist in delivering against tight timescales in this varied and interesting role. Supervisory experience would be desirable for this post. The post holder must be positively vetted.
This is a permanent post and salary is dependent on experience
