Successful applicants will support the Crime Management Unit (CMU) in the management and investigation of crime. This will involve assessing the daily allocation of crime levels in order to manage demands with available resources. Successful applicants will be responsible for evaluating the quality of crime records and investigations, including the quality of service provided to victims. A key part of the role will involve contacting customers following up reported crimes.

It is essential that applicants possess a methodical approach to their work and are able to maintain a high level of performance and accuracy even when working under pressure. This role is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, ideally with some experience within a customer services environment. Excellent communications skills are essential, as you will be dealing with all levels of internal and external customers. Applicants should also have a sound knowledge and understanding of the Criminal Justice System and have the ability to gain a sound knowledge of criminal law and police procedures.
