Criminal Justice Administrators - WP Operators
Vacancies have arisen within the Criminal Justice Department for Administrators based at the Divisional Police Headquarters Melksham and Swindon.
The Criminal Justice Unit plays a pivotal role in the Justice system providing the link between various parts of the Force and external organisations to ensure the smooth and effective management of cases. The administrators role within this process is an important one ensuring that time scales are complied with, both national and local standards and targets are consistently met, and that legal requirements and Force Policy are adhered to in respect of all files and related matters.
To be the successful applicant you will have the ability to work under pressure to a high degree of accuracy, problem solve using your own initiative, communicate well with a variety of people for example, court staff, police officers and the public, and be competent in the use of computers, particularly Microsoft word, excel and outlook. The Criminal Justice Unit has been the subject of significant changes brought about by local and national initiatives. This is likely to continue and you will be expected to be able to adapt and change as these arise.
You will be working as part of a team of administrators and whilst it is important that you can act independently you must also be able to support the team to achieve its aims.
