Details:
G4S Police Recruit currently require a number of ex/retired police officers with investigation experience To provide support to Detective Officers in the investigation of crime, to reduce the time spent by Detective Officers on work not specifically requiring use of police powers.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To interview witnesses and obtain statements assisting in the investigation of series and serious crime utilising interview management technique.
- To assist in the completion of paperwork, including file preparation, researching crimes for TIC schedules for prosecution purposes.
- To assist in the exhibit seizure, handling of the same, continuity, recording of information, storage, preparation of exhibits lists and disposal of property.
- Process all exhibits/video evidence through Scientific Support, ensuring correct entries in Detained Property Registers and continuity statements are returned as a package to Cheques/Credit Card Investigation Office.
CRITERIA
- Knowledge and experience of Police procedures to include statement taking and exhibit handling.
- Possess a current full driving licence
