PNC/SCRO and SID
To provide comprehensive support within the Force Disclosure Unit in order to assist the Force to meet its statutory obligation in terms of Part V of the Police Act 1997 and any associated legislation.
• Ensure that all Part V enquiries received by the Force Disclosure Unit are processed efficiently and responded to within the timescales contained within the related Service Level Agreement.
• Ensure that all disclosure applications are thoroughly researched, collating data from a wide range of Force Information Systems, such as the Force Nominal Index, Crime Management System, Scottish Intelligence Database and STORM.
• Interrogate SCRO/PNC systems and initiate updates to records as appropriate.
