Providing an effective administrative support service for the Systems & Information Team, you will ensure that data is input on the relevant information systems, process enquiries and deal with documentation and monies relating to Alarms Administration. The role will also involve monitoring records of activated alarms and making decisions regarding appropriate further action that needs to be taken. You will assist in ensuring that Thames Valley Police comply with their obligations under Data Protection and the ACPO policy on Police response to Electronic Security Systems.
Educated to GCSE level including Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent you will have recent experience of working within a computerised office environment. You must have good IT skills along with fast accurate keyboard skills. Excellent communication skills along with a good standard of written English are essential as is attention to detail and the ability to plan and prioritise effectively. Knowledge of Police computer systems would be desirable, but is not essential.
