To manage and develop all aspects of the Crime Management Unit on Area, directing and co-ordinating the activities of the CMU and identifying priorities. Ensuring that a high level of performance is achieved and maintained in accordance with both internal and external regulations and targets. To ensure that the Area is not exposed to audit failings in terms of compliance with the Home Office Counting Rules and the National Crime Recording Standards.
