Salary range £15,327 - £16,395/£16,755 (pro rata) 16 to 20 hour week. (Working Monday to Friday, between 4.00pm – 9.00pm). Reference No. H04/07
The successful candidate will join a team of Telephone Interviewers who survey categories of crime victims to ascertain their opinions regarding the quality of service provided. This temporary position is initially for 12 months with the prospect of being extended.
The successful candidate must have:
• GCSE English Language (A-C) or above
• Keyboard skills (25 wpm typing)
• Knowledge of computer applications. Able to learn and use computer systems and other technical equipment.
• Ability to follow set guidelines and procedures accurately.
• Good listening skills and a sympathetic approach to dealing with the public.
• The ability to gather information using appropriate questioning techniques
• Ability to maintain a professional service when under pressure
Experience in a customer service environment, particularly dealing with members of the public via the telephone would be desirable but is not essential.
Interviews will be held week commencing 28th April 2008.
