Workshop Store Person
Based at Force Headquarters, Enderby
£15,303 - £16,347, 37 hours per week
To be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Workshop Stores and overall Stores security.
It is essential that applicants:
*Hold GCSE grade C passes in English Language and Mathematics or equivalent and/or demonstrate work based experience of using English Language and Mathematics to the required standard;
*Hold an appropriate City and Guild or BTEC Vehicle Maintenance and Stores Supervision qualification or equivalent;
*Have been involved in the management of a dealership vehicle stores serving the needs of a large and varied vehicle fleet;
*Have proven experience in the extensive use of a stores management computer system;
*Have a good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair arrangements;
Are able to effectively communicate by telephone, e-mail and face-to-face with parts suppliers and workshop staff to ensure parts are ordered and delivered correctly;
*Have the ability to manage stores effectively and, by virtue of this, support maintenance procedures and provide a rapid service in the correct supply of parts;
*Have effectively and efficiently used a
stores computer system;
*Have a good knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH requirements within a workshop environment.
