British Transport Police (BTP) is currently recruiting for Police Community Support Officers. Successful applicants for this post will be based in Birmingham.

As a Police Community Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for the public should they require help, reassurance or simply a friendly face. You will hold certain police powers, enabling you to deal with a variety of incidents, from crowd control and security threats, to missing person’s enquiries, truants, graffiti and general anti-social behaviour.

To apply you must have strong communication skills, be in good health, have no convictions or any outstanding CCJs. Successful candidates will need to attend training in London for 8 weeks.
