HR Assistant – StainesSalary: £18,828 (12 month fixed term contract)

In the busy environment of the HR Department at Staines, your day-to-day work will ensure we provide the best support to our officers and police staff.

We currently have a vacancy for a full time HR Assistant. We are therefore looking for a professional individual to assist the Human Resources Team in providing an effective and efficient HR function. The role will include administration of contracts of employment, pay arrangements, retirements, resignations and the day to day management of sickness absence. There will be a strong focus on administering the recruitment process for Divisional police officer roles and for internal and external police staff roles. If you are looking for a generalist role within HR then this is the role for you.

Some previous experience of office administration within the HR environment is essential as well as a sound knowledge of employment legislation and excellent IT skills. You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to project confidence with individuals of all levels on the division.
