Holding this senior management post will allow the successful applicant the opportunity to lead the delivery of all area business support functions.
Covering the largest Police Force area in the country, North Yorkshire Police is at the forefront in terms of operational and commercial initiatives with Significant improvement in financial management being made in recent years. NYP is now looking to recruit someone to continue to drive these improvements forward. Holding this senior manager post will allow the successful applicant the opportunity to lead the delivery of all area business support functions and co-ordinate activities including financial management, fleet, property and facilities, administration and procurement.
If you are a qualified CCAB accountant (or equivalent business management qualifications) and have business management experience with a track record of delivering significant business benefits and improvements through effective change management processes, then this may be the position for you. The ability to negotiate, influence and present both financial and operational business issues at senior management level will be required for success in this role. This pivotal role provides an opportunity to manage business support services within a complex changing environment and gain exposure across the breadth of business services within the organisation.
