You will receive items for examination having first identified what is relevant to investigate ensuring that the submissions forms and exhibit labels have been correctly completed together with using the computerised job management system for the storage of data and maintaining manual files providing statements in relation to the investigation.
With experience in the IT Industry or a computer based degree, you will have thorough knowledge of DOS, Windows 9X, NT, 2000, XP operating systems and computer networks and the ability to identify component parts of computers and understand their functions. Capable of dealing with lengthy enquiries and analysing data you will produce concise accurate reports and convey technical information in a manner understandable to the audience. Maintaining confidentiality, you will deal with potentially disturbing material and should be prepared to undertake the following courses; Forensic Foundation Course, Forensic Internet Course and Forensic Network Course.
Applicants must possess a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.
