£26,154 - £27,675, 37 hours per week
To be responsible for the design, maintenance and development of Leicestershire Constabulary's website and for facilitating electronic dialogue with the people of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland in order to improve public understanding of policing.
It is essential that applicants:
-Are educated to degree level, hold an equivalent qualification or have equivalent workplace experience;
-Can demonstrate experience of developing large-scale commercial websites;
-Can demonstrate experience of managing budgets and dealing with external suppliers / consultants;
-Can demonstrate experience in advising senior managers on website design and content;
-Can demonstrate knowledge of internet technologies, including HTML and database design;
-Can demonstrate a high level of computer-literacy and have experience of using Microsoft Frontpage or equivalent and Adobe Photoshop;
-Can demonstrate experience of video/audio recording and editing using computer-based software (e.g. Adobe Premiere) and preparing video and audio for internet presentation;
-Can demonstrate knowledge of legislation governing the Internet and media-related law regarding publication;
-Can demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels, work under pressure, prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and produce highly accurate work;
-Can demonstrate the ability to manage a small team.
