Details:
G4S Police Recruit require a
ARA (Assest Recovery Agency) Accredited Financial Investigator to work in the Thames Valley Area.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Ability to develop and follow a plan for investigation of a case
Ability to identify and assemble relevant information from a range of diverse sources
Ability to analyse such information to develop an overall picture of the activities and finances of an individual or company
Well developed communication skills both oral and written
Ability to handle confrontation in a positive and productive
manner.
Able to give evidence in a Court or similar environment,
IT literate, with good MS/Word, MS Excel and MS/Outlook skills.
Able to Analysing financial information as part of an investigation.
Good knowledge of the financial sector.
Relevant degree or financial or professional qualification.
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
Good knowledge of the law relating to financial investigation
Good knowledge of financial investigation techniques
Well developed team working skills in order to work in partnership with internal colleagues.
Day to day duties:
To investigate, obtain, analyse and present evidence to the appropriate standard of proof to successfully enforce the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and other relevant legislation (DTA/CJA).
1. Conduct financial investigations in relation to criminal confiscation.
2. To assist in the development of SOCA financial disclosures.
3. To gather evidence in the course of F.I.U. duties using such legislative powers as necessary through the seizure, acquisition and processing and analysis of data contained within banking, business and other commercial systems.
To investigate and prepare detailed financial profiles on behalf of TVP BCU’s including assisting Senior Investigating Officers engaged in the investigation of major crime.
