PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To supervise the intelligence analysis team within the Area Intelligence Unit in order to ensure the quality of product delivered (including implementation of best practice) and that the analytical capacity is used to best effect.
To undertake analysis and present the findings of analytical work as intelligence/analytical products to the standards defined within the National Intelligence Model and in accordance with the requirements of Northamptonshire Police. To inform and advise strategic, tactical and investigative activity to ensure that prevention, enforcement and intelligence activity is prioritised and focused in and effective and efficient way.
