Applications are invited for an accredited Financial Investigator for a forthcoming vacancy for the post of Financial Investigator within the North West Regional Asset Recovery Team.
The RART is a multi-agency unit staffed by investigators from all six police forces in the North West and HMRC. It also has its own Crown Prosecution Service Lawyer and CPS Caseworker. The principal role of the Team is to conduct confiscation and money laundering investigations in respect of drugs trafficking at NIM Levels 2 & 3 and serious and organised crime, including terrorism. Successful applicants will be required to work across a wide range of casework and with a variety of law enforcement agencies throughout the region and nationally.
The RART is located in the Warrington area, close to the M6 and M62. Working hours are flexible and as the offices are located outside the Lancashire Constabulary area, travelling expenses will be paid.
