Senior Divisional Learning and Development Officer

A senior position within the establishment of Police Staff, this post reflects the importance and value that we attribute to the learning and development of our Staff.

Predominantly, alongside the first line management of the training Staff, which includes both Police and non Police personnel, you will be responsible for monitoring the divisional training budget.

Accountable for the planning and co-ordination of divisional cascade training, you will ensure that all learning and development activity on the division is compliant with the Investor in People principles.
You must be fully conversant with computerised systems and have experience and/or training in the supervision of Staff. Self-motivated, you will have the ability to work alone and as part of a team.

Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Training and Development, Management or Business Administration or equivalent, you will be willing to work towards NVQ level 4 in Training and Development. You will be qualified to the A1 standard as an Assessor and be qualified or willing to train to the V1 Award, or equivalent.
