We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill the challenging role of Management Information Analyst within the Performance Monitoring & Analysis Unit.

You will primarily be responsible for carrying out quantitative research and conducting performance management information projects and analysis to meet statutory and force requirements. In addition, you will contribute to the promotion of a performance management culture throughout the organisation.

Your role will involve auditing management information to ensure its accuracy, relevance, timeliness and effectiveness, as well as statistical analysis of data and reporting findings, either in a written report or verbally by means of a presentation. You will also be required to provide advice and guidance in the effective use of management information to support strategic decisions.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a maths, computing or other related degree or proven and well-evidenced experience in an analytical environment. You will be experienced in the use of statistical concepts and should have well developed computer skills, in particular an understanding of relational databases, spreadsheet and MIS tools such as SAS / Oracle Discoverer / Business Objects to aid the recording and analysis of information.

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to plan and prioritise your workload and the flexibility to adapt to and deal with rapidly changing demands.
