Description: Provide research and analysis support to portfolio leads, Unit Head and Head and Deputy Head of Department. Undertake research into matters that require the formulation of new policy or the revision of existing policy. Manage small to medium projects as directed by line management.
Minimum Criteria
Ability to carry out research independently to a very high standard.
The post holder will have:
Excellent IT skills and experience in common software applications.
An understanding of research methods.
Demonstrable communication skills.
The ability to work in a varied environment to deadlines with minimum supervision.
Be able to communicate with different individuals such as chief officers, police authority members, departmental heads, police officers and police staff.
