Salary range £15,327 - £16,395/£16,755 plus 20% shift and weekend working allowance 37 hour week (rotational earlies/lates/nights shift pattern). Reference no. H04/25
Successful candidates will play an essential role in producing in-depth research on crime, criminals and quality of life issues affecting the people of West Mercia, in addition to responsibilities in Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and CRIMESTOPPERS intelligence.
The successful candidate must possess:
• an education to GCSE level (or equivalent) including English and Maths
• a high level of IT skills (knowledge of Window based packages – Excel and Word)
• proven research skills
• excellent interpersonal skills
• effective verbal and written communication skills
• ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
Please note that shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an assessment centre on Wednesday 11th June 2008. Those who pass the assessment centre will then be invited to attend an interview on either Wednesday 25th or Thursday 26th June 2008.
