Are you CIPD or part qualified and looking for a development opportunity to gain a wider range of experience in Human Resources?
This is an opportunity to assist Staff Development set up a succession management programme. This is a high profile role, working with senior managers within HR.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- To create and implement a succession management strategy. This will involve a system for dealing with individual development plans, training delivery and forecasting Essex Police staffing needs.
- To create links to the PDR process, recruitment and retention strategy and NSPIS HR.
- To seek a return on investment by analysing costs
- To monitor and develop career path activities
Experience of change management and a practical experience at management level are desirable. Travel countywide and nationally on occasions will be required, for which access to a vehicle is needed.
