Safer Neighbourhood Team Coordinators –East Surrey

The East Surrey Division of Surrey Police currently has vacancies for the role of Safer Neighbourhood Team Co-ordinator. Working in a busy environment, these roles are an ideal opportunity to work alongside teams that make a real difference within their local community.

These vacancies require the job-holder to undertake proactive and comprehensive intelligence research and subsequently assemble a daily briefing for the Neighbourhood Team. As the Neighbourhood Team Co-ordinator you must have the ability to assimilate and prioritise relevant intelligence. You will therefore need strong knowledge of general office software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and other computerised databases.

You will also be expected to manage the Neighbourhood Specialist Officers’ and Police Community Support Officers’ diaries as well as prioritising their tasks, ensuring they are progressed in a timely manner and meet our customers’ expectations. Effective communication skills, as well as the ability to negotiate and influence are therefore essential.

Successful candidates must have proven experience in prioritising responsibilities, as well as the ability to work as part of a team. This role also requires flexibility and a willingness to work a shift pattern (between the times of 7am and 8pm) which includes weekends. Please note it is a job requirement that individuals hold a current valid full driving licence for motor vehicles.

Applications are welcome from individuals with current flexible working arrangements. East Surrey are supportive and promote flexible working practices so any current arrangement or new flexible working request will be given proper consideration.
