Details:
Work with Partners, Agencies and Communities to agree priorities and carry out actions to reduce crime and disorder.
Encourage effective resident involvement to ensure that interventions meet local need.
Organise and support “face the public sessions” and public meetings in relation to crime and disorder in conjunction with other council services, partners and elected members.
Ensure that the Council’s policies and procedures relating to data protection and data exchange are met and that partnership data sharing protocols are observed.
Provide information to meet the needs of the Council, partners and communities. Produce reports as may be requested by the Community Safety Manager
Organise and facilitate internal and external meetings, including accommodation and minute taking where appropriate.
Work with colleagues in the Council to promote understanding of and action to achieve crime and disorder reduction
Maintain an understanding of all relevant legislation and best practice, which impacts upon anti-social behaviour.
Comply with the Council’s Health and Safety policy and procedure.
Any other activities which fall broadly within the scope of this post and are of a similar level of responsibility.
